The Technology Transformation team

Technology Transformation accelerates the implementation of our IT strategy by driving streamlined, future-proof, and business value-driven technology decisions across our IT Platforms.

We enable PMI to expand and integrate new categories with speed, grow reduced-risk product platforms to scale, achieve launch and service agility, and build differentiating digital capabilities for competitive advantage.


YOUR DAY TO DAY


  • As PMI accelerates its AI journey, this role will be critical in driving the next stage of PMI's digital transformation - towards an AI-powered PMI.
  • The (Senior) Manager – Technology Transformation will drive the acceleration (e.g. the efficient and swift deployment of the right (Gen)AI use-cases) and adoption (ensuring that PMI employees integrate available (Gen)AI tools in their day-to-day activities) of AI@PMI.
  • You will contribute to the execution of PMI’s GenAI strategy by leading several AI-centric initiatives, re-inventing processes with an AI-first mindset, and generating top- and bottom-line contribution to PMI’s P&L.
  • This role will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of multiple Generative AI use-cases within the organization, engaging in strategic discussions with key Senior PMI leaders, coordinating implementation with cross-functional teams, and acting as a thought leader about AI.

Typically, you will:

AI Business Development:

  • Engage with key functional stakeholders with the identification of AI use-cases, and the integration of AI-first thinking in their strategic planning; support the crafting of key business plans into crisp and actionable AI roadmaps
  • Establish yourself as Thought Leader, providing advice and sharing knowledge on how AI can help solve specific pain points or open new opportunities

AI Strategy & Planning:

  • Prepare strategic papers (i.e. 2-page memos) and presentations for IT or Business senior management presentations
  • Lead the preparation of the AI@PMI monthly AI Steering Committee, ensuring a continuous pipeline of relevant, interesting, and engaging content
  • Follow up on Steering Committee meetings, ensuring SteerCo is kept informed, comments and actions are recorded and followed up

AI Project Delivery:

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand end-to-end business and technical requirements and facilitate the integration of AI technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process re-imagination and innovation through AI
  • When necessary, act as intermediary between use-case owners and the technical implementation teams to ensure requirements are properly implemented
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, translating complex AI concepts into understandable and actionable information

Grow the adoption of (Gen)AI solutions at PMI:

  • Develop and implement strategies for the adoption of PMI-approved (Gen)AI solutions across the organization, ensuring alignment with PMI's goals and objectives
  • Together with the Capability Building and Communications team, design and deliver change management initiatives to facilitate the smooth transition to (Gen)AI-driven processes, minimizing resistance and maximizing engagement
  • Support the design and delivery of effective communication plans to articulate the benefits and impacts of (Gen)AI initiatives to stakeholders at all levels
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development around (Gen)AI, providing training and support to enhance digital literacy across the organization
  • Monitor and report on the progress of AI adoption, providing insights and recommendations to further drive the integration of (Gen)AI within PMI
  • Champion the use of (Gen)AI tools and methodologies, advocating for their strategic application to achieve competitive advantage.

Leadership:

  • As a senior member of the team, provide support, guidance and coaching to more junior team resources
  • Act as delegate for the Directors Technology Transformation during their absences, or heavy workload


WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR


  • University degree or equivalent life or professional experience (Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience delivering results through direct and indirect influence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
