Manager Position, global financial services practice, Zurich office

Managers are responsible for leading case teams, client engagements and business development.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for understanding the critical issues affecting the client, and then working directly with clients and Partners to set project objectives, define project scope, develop analytical frameworks, structure and assign work responsibilities and overall tracking and management of the client deliverable
  • Structuring complex strategic and technical problems into discrete modules and communicating these to the team
  • Delivering appropriate and timely recommendations to the client based upon the proper interpretation of the team’s research and analyses
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of a project, whilst developing and mentoring the team
  • Contributing to the management of the firm through involvement in areas such as professional development, new business development, recruitment and Knowledge Management

Requirements for the role

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills combined with proven expertise in strategy consulting approaches
  • Proven experience in mentoring and coaching people in multiple dimensions including analytical skills, project management, client relationship management, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills including work planning, presentation development and quality control of analysis
  • Strong expertise and experience in delivering financial services projects in Switzerland and beyond focusing on business strategy, digital and risk & regulation
  • Native (Swiss) German is an advantage
