Research Associate Antibody Discovery & in vivo Pharmacology

Role and Responsibilities:


  • Target validation and characterization of novel therapeutic antibody candidates.
  • Development and implementation of biochemical, immunohistological and cell-based assays.
  • Characterization of antibody candidates in animal models including dosing of animals, sampling of biofluids necropsy and tissue processing for quantitative immunohistological and biochemical analyses.
  • Documenting and reporting the results to the team.
  • The candidate will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a research team.


Requirements:


  • MSc, BSc or training as laboratory technician in Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent degree in biological sciences.
  • Good practice in the handling and cultivation of eukaryotic cells.
  • Experience in mammalian cell culture, in vitro cellular assays and immunological techniques such as ELISA and Western Blotting.
  • Expertise in in vivo administration of compounds (i.p/i.v.), vein bleeding techniques, necropsy and ex vivo sample processing for biochemical and immunostaining analyses.
  • Well organized, self-motivated, ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively with a focus on deliverables.
