As part of PTDS Global Clinical Supply Chain Management, the Production Enablement function ensures that packaging operations can produce material required by Roche’s clinical trials seamlessly, on-time, and while optimizing cost/quality.
Within Production Enablement the Global CMO Clinical Packaging Management team is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing outsourced portion of the Clinical Packaging portfolio. Contract Manufacturing Site Managers work closely with contract manufacturers (CMOs) worldwide, Procurement, Clinical Planning, Quality and other operations functions to develop and negotiate supply contracts and ensure product delivery from external manufacturing partners with optimal cost, quality and speed. CMO Site Managers also drive the evolution and implementation of new systems and efficient internal and external processes, in support of CMO production and the Pharma Vision to deliver 20 transformative medicines addressing diseases with the highest societal burden between 2020 and 2029.
The incumbent is ultimately responsible for a successful go live with all activities related to the PTDS CMO business.
In this position, you will be responsible for generating configuration requirements, create, execute and follow up on the test plan. You will also support data migration, authorizations and reporting. Create SOPs for the new process and execute training
You will be responsible for supporting the planned events for external manufacturing and change management with our CMO's - in case their processes will change
Demand to Pay (D2P) : Align on the ASPIRE global template processes to ensure the orders can be placed in the ASPIRE environment with MyBuy and S4
Plan : Ensure that the activities at the CMO ar part of the overall supply plan and visible in SAP Planning System (OMP) and exchanged with CMO
Make : Ensure that the order preparation (Exp calculation, Medication number assignment) fits
Warehouse: Ensure that Goods Receipt against subcon Purchase Order, material movements and physical inventory can be performed
Distribution: Work together to ensure material provisioning and FG delivery
Quality : Ensure that the materials can be released following the ASPIRE processes
Finance: Ensure the bills get paid and the material gets valuated as per Design
Who you are
8+ years in the pharma industry, supply chain management or in manufacturing
Experience with clinical drug manufacturing or clinical supply chain or contract manufacturing management strongly preferred
Proficient knowledge and experience of SAP or ERP system
BA/BS Degree, preferably in a technical, business or supply chain field. Masters Degree a plus
APICS and/or SCOR certification, or equivalent relevant experience
PMP/Operational Excellence/Six Sigma/Lean training a plus
