About The Role:

As our Business Development Manager for Embedded Finance, you will be at the core of our expansion strategy. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from identifying and engaging new enterprise clients to negotiating and closing high-value, long-term partnerships.

Expect a Day Full of:

• Owning the Swiss Market: Developing and executing a business development strategy to acquire new partners in Switzerland, focusing on key verticals like banking, digital platforms, retail, and mobility

• Driving the Full Sales Cycle: Proactively managing the pipeline from lead generation and qualification to complex contract negotiations and closing

• Consultative Solution Selling: Conducting in-depth discovery with prospective clients to understand their strategic needs, and present YAPEAL’s solutions as a core part of their business model

• Building Compelling Business Cases: Creating and presenting clear financial models and ROI analyses that demonstrate the value of our platform to C-level executives

• Collaborating for Success: Working closely with our solution development, account management, and legal teams to structure winning proposals and ensure smooth client onboarding

Who We’re Looking For:

• Business Development/ Sales Experience: 5+ years of experience in a B2B business development or sales role, preferably within FinTech, Payments, Banking, or enterprise SaaS

• Technical & Financial Acumen: You are comfortable discussing technical API-based solutions and have the financial literacy to build and defend a business case

• Language Proficiency: Business fluency in both (Swiss-)German and English is mandatory, working proficiency in French would make you stand out

• Specific experience with Embedded Finance, payments and cards, or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)

• Experience in a fast-growing scale-up environment

• An existing, active network of contacts within the Swiss corporate landscape
