Research Associate - Antibody Discovery

You will support our activities in the antibody technology group and contribute to our ongoing drug development programs.

Role and Responsibilities:


  • Performing the screening of human antibodies for the different preclinical discovery programs.
  • Cultivation and manipulation of mammalian cells.
  • Operating different liquid handlers and robotic systems.
  • Initial characterization of antibody candidates.
  • Documenting and reporting the results to the team.
  • Supporting the antibody cloning, production and characterization activities.
  • The candidate will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a research team.


Requirements:


  • BSc or training as laboratory technician in Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or equivalent degree in biological sciences.
  • Good practice in the handling, and cultivation of eukaryotic cells.
  • Experience with immunological (ELISA, Western Blotting) and biophysical techniques (SPR, BLI).
  • Additional experience with laboratory biology techniques such as cloning and protein expression would be advantageous.
  • Well organized, self-motivated, ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively with a focus on deliverables.
